resistance, different types of challenges and appropriate overload.athletic drills to ensure a complete total body workout.

Cardio

Cardiovascular fitness is an important factor in overall health. Regular cardio exercise as part of your fitness routine can help you increase energy levels, battle disease and sleep better. It can also help you lose weight or maintain a healthy weight when combined with a balanced nutrition plan. The key factor in a cardio class or workout is increasing your heart rate up. Exercises may include power walking, jogging, running, bike riding, or a variety of low- and high-impact movements that will
raise your heart rate and work up a sweat.

Chair Yoga

Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline originating in ancient India. While stretching is certainly involved, yoga is also about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of poses or postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. Chair will be provided.

Circuit/Interval Training

An interval type of physical training that involves high intensity exercise alternated with rest periods is highly effective in conditioning the cardiovascular system while increasing muscle strength. Active rest between high intensity work allows the heart rate to drop, giving the participant the opportunity to recover before the next high intensity interval. These types of workouts can include a mix of cardio exercises with resistance training.
